Start where you are

Wherever our health is at right now, let’s accept where we’re at. Let’s meet life where it is. It’s a normal to feel anxiety over health issues. We may be ready to move on or we may need time to process changes that have happened. Either way, we know it’s time to try something new.

Let’s release any anxiety we may have been holding on to and make a fresh start.  If we can, let’s stop spending time and energy struggling with what’s missing or what isn’t happening. Let’s start where we are, with what we have and build from here.  Here is a great place to be—at the beginning. Health is fundamental to life and it’s never too late (or early) to create a life that works for us.

Get to know you

Take time this week to assess what health means to us and get clear on why we’re doing this. Use the HEALTH CONTEMPLATION exercise below and use a journal to get to know what health means to us and how we define it. We’re all different so it doesn’t matter if we make notes with our online JOURNAL, on our phone or in a notebook. Whatever works for us personally is what’s best.  The clarity that we get from writing is why we’re doing this. That clarity can power us through our day, motivate and keep us on track. Clarity is our friend.

Be a pathfinder

There is no one path to health.  There are many.  We can’t tell you what that way is—only you can do that. We each know what’s best for us personally.  Throughout the Brilliant plan, we’ll share a structure to support finding a way that works for each of us. Let’s begin as a pathfinder and use the TUNE IN WRITE IT DOWN exercise below to get to know what health means to us personally and how we define it. Ready? Set. GO.
