What we eat has a MASSIVE impact on our mood. Our mood affects our ability to manage arthritis naturally. When our mood is balanced we feel more able to deal with ups and downs. When our mood is off-balance we feel run by emotions that make us tense, cranky, anxious and to top it off, it exacerbates arthritic pain. We’re all used to hearing our body talk. The chatter can be loud and familiar; rumbling when we’re hungry, butterflies when nervous or sick if upset. Our body also gives us other messages that may not be so loud; cranky after sugar, tense or anxious when dehydrated or depressed after junk food.
