Hand/finger massage with your favorite cream or use essential oils for additional anti-inflammatory benefits. Lavender, marjoran, eucalyptus, rosemary and peppermint can all be blended with a carrier oil and used for massaging arthritic joints.
Gently apply oil or cream and rub palms, back of hands, wrists and individual fingers, use opposite hand for resistance if strength in hands in weak. Wrist circles both directions. Palms together, make a temple for finger stretches, Finger curls into fist, Fingers intertwined, backwards push.
